If you need to arrange a funeral for a loved one, let us help with what happens next.
What happens next

Planning ahead

At Mortons, we understand that there are many reasons why you might prefer to leave paying for a funeral until such time as it takes place, but would still like your wishes to be recorded for your own peace of mind.

That’s why we’ve designed an easy to complete form to help you record your wishes. This simple form includes many of the questions which are frequently asked in the course of making funeral arrangements, so that your nearest and dearest will know what you wanted without ever having to have, what to many, is a difficult conversation.

Your completed form will be retained on file with us so that a permanent record of your wishes will always be available. In addition to a copy of your own, you are welcome to have additional copies for your next of kin and/or your solicitor – there is a space for your instructions about this at the end of the form.

If you do decide that the option of prearranging your funeral without the need to pay in advance suits you best, please be assured that no one from Mortons Funeral Directors will contact you as a result of completing the ‘My Wishes’ form, except to confirm our receipt of it and to clarify any details that are not clear at that time. No one will be under any obligation to use us as your Funeral Directors when the time comes.
