The cost of a funeral

Naturally, when arranging a funeral, one of the first things you’ll probably want to know is the likely cost.

Funeral costs are typically made up of two elements, the funeral directors costs, and the disbursements. The disbursements are costs out of our control as funeral directors, and can include things like cremation fees. Typically, you will see funeral costs advertised without these disbursements costs.

Every person’s requirements and budgetary constraints are different, and costs will vary depending on your needs. We recommend that you simply talk all your wishes through with us. That way you can be clear about what you want for your loved one and still feel in control of the overall cost. We will, of course, give you a full written estimate before you commit to the final arrangements.

Our Simple Funeral cost has been based on Lodge Hill Crematorium, please do ask us for current fees for your preferred Service venue, as costs can differ.
