Sarah Case
Managing Director

Bachelor of Laws and Diploma in Funeral Directing

Sarah joined her Dad in the Company in 2005, whilst studying at university.  She found the work fulfilling and rewarding so, having completed her law degree, she joined the Company full time to become a highly skilled and qualified Funeral Director, well respected within the profession. In 2013 Sarah became Assistant Managing Director and is now joint owner of the business with Derek Case.

Sarah spends her leisure time walking her dog, relaxing with friends, travelling and music – playing and listening.

Sarah can always be contacted on 07837 010 070.

Derek Case
Director

Diploma in Funeral Directing, Qualified Member of The British Institute of Embalmers.

Derek joined the Company in 1982 and by 2005 had been appointed Managing Director. On the retirement of Miles Morton in 2015, Derek took on the ownership of the business with his daughter Sarah. Derek regularly appears in the media where an opinion on bereavement matters is sought. Having now served families for almost 47 years Derek is embarking upon semi-retirement to focus upon his eclectic variety of pastimes and hobbies whilst continuing to serve on an ad hoc basis as a consultant ensuring that his wealth of knowledge and experience can still called upon whenever necessary.

Derek enjoys hill walking, travel, theatre, good food and wine and, rather surprisingly, motorcycling.

Extensive knowledge of the prepayment planning market means that James can help to ensure that the Company and the plans we offer genuinely meet the needs of our clients.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children.

Wish to thank all staff at Mortons for being helpful, caring, understanding at my fathers funeral. Used the same director at mums funeral 10 yrs ago so recommend. Made the day a bit easier on a sad day.
